Mr. Brus’ background is wide, varied and extremely unique, giving him an incredibly rare outlook on, and ability to address, your specific needs.  If litigation is necessary, he will be your most zealous advocate in the courtroom, but his personal view is that both sides should endeavor to keep their clients out of costly and protracted litigaiton.  He has successfully mediated and negotiated extremely favorable outcomes for his clients with some of the largest law firms in Oklahoma City.

 

     As a graduate from Oklahoma City University School of Law, Mr. Brus also holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma. The discipline, at its core, is hydro-engineering, thermodynamics, engineering-math and physics. This education and his three decades of experience enable Mr. Brus to act as a consultant and witness in a variety of science-based matters.  

 

     Mr. Brus ultimately purchased an independent television station in Oklahoma with a broadcast footprint reaching into Texas and Kansas.  His broadcast company focused on serving the viewers with "Family Friendly" programming, high school and other sporting events.  Ultimately, after a decade of ownership, he sold his business to two investors from Oklahoma City.  

 

     Mr. Brus owned and operated his television network of 14 television licenses for approximately ten years serving the state of Oklahoma, parts of Texas and Kansas.  In this undertaking, as Founder, President, and CEO of his company, he dealt extensively with the FCC and those legal issues daily.  He also personally negotiated all contracts his television station entered- ranging from the first local television deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder to contracts with ESPN, SONY, Paramount, MGM, FOX, Sooner Sports Properties, CBS, Univision, The NFL Network, The SEC Network, the OSSAA, and many others.  He drafted local land lease deals with Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas landowners, a wide variety of employment contracts, asset purchase agreements, and a vast number and array of other business agreements.  Mr. Brus has personally negotiated and structured business agreements ranging from a few thousand to more than $25 million in size. ​

     Due to his personal belief in passing a "legacy to your children and to your children's children," he also has a deep passion for estate planning, including Wills, Trusts, and all other matters related.  No client is too small and no client is too large.  All receive the same dedication from his law office. 

​

     Brady grew up in Oklahoma in the Mustang/Yukon area and he attended Mustang schools.  After graduation, he played football for Oklahoma State University as a placekicker before transferring to the University of Oklahoma, College of Geosciences, obtaining his degree in Meteorology. He then graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law where he focused on Estate, Business, Constitutional, Contract, Criminal, American Indian and Family Law.

     Brady has three sons; two still attending college at Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma and one married and graduate of ORU in Tulsa, all competitive soccer players.  Brady also continues to play soccer competitively on the weekends. At 53 years-old, it takes a few more days for recovery but his love for the game keeps him on the field.

 

     Brady's passion and dedication to his family and to his faith drive him every day, directing his focus in business and life. He is a strong and extremely tenacious advocate when serving his clients.
